ABOUT KRANTI FOUNDATION

Kranti Foundation was incorporated on 13th March, 2009 vide registration number- E-5261(Pune) with an object to provide relief to the needy and poor, help in the education of the needy, support by way of medical relief to the needy and other general charitable purposes.

The Foundation was incorporated by Mr. Ajay Bafna and he has since been a Trustee. The Foundation is registered under the 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Any donation to the trust for spending towards the objects of the trust is eligible for Exemption u/s 80G to the donor under the Income Tax Act.

We do a lot of work on medical social services includes medical health kits for women, children & old aged people. We conducted more than 22000 eye surgeries and medical health checkups in the remote Adivasi areas. Ajay Bafna worked under the Kranti foundation helps the poor elderly who cannot afford expensive medication for cancer treatment.

Housing Help

Ajay Bafna trust provided 450 kitchen sets to poor needy people. They have worked for renovation for villagers and Adivasi women, especially for their housing requirements.

Ajay Bafnas Kranti Foundation trust s main motives are poor people's problems and decreasing health issues, however, they organized free health check-ups for diabetic people. Ajay Bafna helped to near about 1860 people of different villagers in a poor area.

Clean Water Wupply

It has constructed a 1.25 Lakh Litre Water Tank at Shere, Mulshi, Pune, and being inspired by Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan it has built 70 toilets in Shere, Mulshi, Pune. We are Working under Ajay Bafna director of Kranti foundation which is a nonprofit NGO bringing clean water 24/7 to villagers.

Food supply during a disaster

First, to respond to disasters, it has actively helped the locals and contributed immensely during the Floods in Sangli and Kolhapur in the year 2019 by sending tons of food grains, lentils, and rice along with 500 sets of complete household utensils and other needed goods.

Our Disaster Response Effects In Maharashtra during 2019-20

1Organizing the Packed Food and necessary grains

Kranti Foundation has recently started to be one of the first to respond in disasters by ensuring required safe drinking water and needed groceries alongwith packed food reach those in need. Kranti Foundation supported disaster-hit communities to build back their lives, better and stronger.When floods hit Maharashtra in 2019, Kranti Foundation came to action to provide extensive relief efforts to provide short-term rehabilitation initiatives in the region by providing kitchen utensils, rice, lentils, sugar, oil, clothes, etc for recovery and well-being of the local society in Sangli and Kolhapur.

2. Distributing Commercial Water Filters for drinkable water in Flood areas

Kranti Foundation had organized and able to install 10 commercial water filters which can purify water upto 500 liters per hour for safe drinking water at the flood sites.

Drinking of contaminated water can spread diseases such as diarrhea and other contaminated diseases.It had installed it in the areas of Sangli and Kolhapur to avoid spread of stomach difficulties and related diseases.

It helped the whole village to get safe water with an aim to reduce the medical expenses after the floods which helped the public at large.
